Propylene glycol ethers, whether mono, di- or tripropylene glycol-based show a very similar pattern of low to non-detectable toxicity of any type at doses or experience levels greatly beyond those presentations marked effects from the ethylene series. One of the primary metabolites of the propylene glycol ethers is propylene glycol, which is of low toxicity and totally metabolized in the body.
